CivicNode

A catalyst for ending homelessness through responsible social action - in partnership with vulnerable communities.

Project CivicNode is about reconnecting people with their place, to end homelessness.

We execute action research in partnership with local communities who are experiencing hardship.

Cities are living systems.

Networks are a building block of natural, social, technological and economic processes. We examine the intricate web of relationships inherent in modern cities and the processes that shape social outcomes.

Our work will inform operational decisions that support vulnerable people in urban communities.

Our multi-disciplinary team will generate novel evidence to identify leverage points within the whole system of supports and influences.

Individuals and communities are experiencing persistent homelessness and loss to public safety

Current supports are unable to match the scale of needs

There is a narrowwindow of opportunity forresponsible action

CivicNode can become the connective tissue between institutions with people + neighborhoods at the core; generating shared value through engaging in collective impact methods to end homelessness.

Connectivity. Transparency. Amplification. Knowhow. Integrity.

In 2025, our work plan priorities are to:

  1. Deepen stakeholder engagement at the local level and secure implementation partnerships with communities that are effected by homelessness.
  2. Refine the ethical framework to work with local implementation partners.
  3. Secure research grant funding to execute identified research projects.
